Cheques were presented by HMVC and HLC to Cancer Research UK in memory of the late David Gibson, previous MD of HMVC and HLC. Money was raised from the concerts of the ladies’ choir in October, and the male choir in December.

From it’s humble beginnings, David was the cornerstone of the Ladies’ Choir, taking us to the size and standard we’re at today. We will be forever grateful for his many years of hard work and dedication. His request to us was that we ‘continue to grow and flourish’ and we are intent on doing just that.
David’s legacy means choral music in Hartlepool will live long into the future. Our thoughts continue to be with his wife, Lynn, and their family.
