Following the sad loss of David Gibson in November, the choir are now looking to recruit a new Musical Director (MD) to enable the choir to continue.
We are an experienced Male Voice Choir, formed in the late 1950’s. We are seeking a replacement MD to start ASAP. We rehearse in Hartlepool at the Corner Flag on a Friday evening. During 2025 we performed in 13 concerts, singing songs from a broad-based music genre, using backing tracks, but the use of an accompanist would be considered.
Our preferred candidate will be responsible for managing the choir and the music selection; a good and inspiring communicator with experience of working with singers of varying ability who are keen and passionate about their music and the organisation.
Remuneration will be fee-based and commensurate with previous experience.
